Islam Makhachev tells UFC to ‘stop playing games’ over his next fight

Islam Makhachev is frustrated with the UFC as he prepares to defend his lightweight title against Charles Oliveira.

Khabib Nurmagomedov's protege was expected to fight Alexander Volkanovski next year.

Makhachev's latest Tweet tells the UFC to'stop playing games' and send his next fight contract.

"I don't know what UFC wants, February Australia or March Vegas; I never choose opponents. Just send a contract, Makhachev posted yesterday.

Volkanovski questioned Islam's commitment to the fight after their UFC 280 bout.

“Are you a man of your word? [Islam Makhachev]? Let’s make it happen!”
