Dave Chappelle Set to Return as Host of ‘Saturday Night Live’

Dave Chappelle will host "SNL" after next week's midterm elections.

The controversial comedian will host "SNL" on Nov. 12, four days after federal, state and local elections.

Rap duo Black Star will join Chappelle as music guest, NBC revealed.

Chappelle's return follows his pattern of post-election hosting since 2016 and 2020.

Chappelle's Netflix special "The Closer" in 2021 included homophobic and transphobic comments.

Ted Sarandos, Netflix's co-CEO and chief content officer, defended Chappelle's right to be offensive, but he apologised to employees after they were outraged.

Chappelle doesn't apologize. He In a 2021 video, Chappelle said, "I said what I said" about his transphobic and homophobic Netflix special.
